The Order of Christ is for Christian men who value character within themselves and others and want to improve the state of the world.
To be clear, we are not a monastic Order. We are not monks. We are open to all Christian men.
By joining, you become part of a Brotherhood, men working together to change the culture and prepare for dark times.
No Fees
There are no fees. We support ourselves with various methods but we won’t charge you anything to be a member.
The Vision
It is our goal to build a modern Order that harkens back to groups long lost to history. Men who become Brothers in their Faith, allies in their mission. A modern version of the Templars, Hospitallers, Teutonic Knights… Crusaders.
As an Order, we value our Faith, our Character and our Mission.
We seek to be men with kindness of Heart, Strength of Will. Men who are wise, strong, fearless, honorable, unbreakable.
Men standing together against the darkness to change our culture and be ready to face what storms may come.
Brotherhood
At its core, The Order is a Brotherhood.
As a member you will gain lifelong friends who will always have your back, and you will gain the support of the entire organization.
As a member you will become part of a 5-10 member Team. These Team members are local to you, perhaps existing friends, perhaps from your church. You will meet with this Team in-person not just online.
You will also gain access to our website thesword.org which is a stand alone social networking website just for members of The Order. You will gain your own profile and be able to stay in communication with your Team as well as all of the other Order members.
You will be able to attend local in-person gatherings and special events such as camping trips and other challenges.
As well, we have plans to acquire a members only headquarters to become a hangout as well as center of all Order operations.
A Mission
As a member you become part of a group all working together towards a common goal. And a goal that is at the very heart of society.
A profound purpose that makes getting up every morning a new adventure.
As a member you will work with your Team on your own schedule, spreading the value of character to one area of our culture that you choose.
You will also work with your Team to help prepare as many people as possible for any future dark times.
Also, another aspect of our mission is to help us build the Brotherhood by staying an active member, participating online and attending events and gatherings.
Character Growth
Yes we value character but we are not perfect people. What is important is the desire to become a better man. If you have this, and you wish to do something about the state of the world, then you will fit right in.
Character growth is not a general “Be a good person.” It is a specific and systematic self-crafting. Honest self-assessment followed by developing positive traits such as integrity, honesty and discipline while also working to overcome negative issues such as anger, anxiety, fear, laziness etc. Seeking to eventually achieve mastery over ones Intellect, Emotions and Will. Seeking to fulfill the mandate that Christ set before us – To overcome the world.
We provide resources but your journey is yours to walk. This personal character development is done at your own discretion. You work on these things on your own, at your own pace. You are never asked to talk about any of this with anyone else, though you are free to if you choose. This is your own personal battle.
