Goals of The Order

We prepare to protect our families against difficult times

It seems every few weeks we are confronted with a new looming threat.  Food shortages, economic collapse, energy crisis, war…

Whatever your belief about the cause of these calamities, one thing is sure:  during dark times it is best to stand with others rather than alone.

It is our goal to bring together as many Order Members as possible as well as their circles in order to prepare our families for these coming difficult times.

We work to make character development a valued part of the culture

Society is made up of people.  The state of society is a direct reflection of the state of the individuals that make it up.  More specifically, the state of society is a direct reflection of the Character of the people within that society.

Issues within the character of individuals are the root cause of society’s problems.

Creating a culture that values character development and in turn, makes it part of the daily lives of the people within society addresses the root cause of all of society’s problems.

This is our goal.

We combat the division that is tearing our world apart

There are people with extreme beliefs, but the truth is that most people are not that different from one another.  Most people are not the loud fringe who are creating the headlines.  Most people want the same things out of life.  Most are simple people just living their lives not taking part in the craziness.  It is time that the silent majority understand this fact and see past the divisiveness in order to make the changes that our society truly needs.

We are a real-world Brotherhood.  This website is a tool for members of this Brotherhood to share information and to communicate.  When you sign-up you gain your own profile.  You then either form your own Team or join an existing Team.  Teams meet together offline.  Through this site, you can then connect with other Teams as well as the leadership within your city or rural county.

You then, with your Team, work on two main things.  1. You work together so that each Team Member becomes Self-Reliant in each major area such as Food, Water etc. 2. You choose one of seven areas of focus - called a Path - and work with your Team, at your own pace, to accomplish the goals of that Path.  Each Path works to perform a needed function of The Order for accomplishing our main goals.  Many Teams working on their Path, collectively accomplish our greater, above stated goals.

No Fees

There are no fees for Members of The Order.

This Order is not about money and we want that to be 100% clear.

If possible, we would prefer to operate without any funds or fundraising at all.  In fact we are designed to be able to operate with as little funding as possible.  The idea is to get many members who each do a little bit of various aspects of the organization, and collectively accomplish our stated goals.

We hope to operate primarily in this way.

However, we can foresee areas where funding would help out a lot.  When we do raise funds we will keep it as simple, transparent and straight forward as possible.  Our intention is to have a crowd funding style page on this website where different needs are listed with a description and a goal amount to raise.
Members can then, at their own discretion, view these and choose to contribute to whichever needs they want - or none of them.

Your Battle

Character Development is fundamental to our Order.  Step-by-step lessons are provided that help you to gain mastery over your Intellect, your Emotions your Will and also how to overcome many different types of personal issues like anger, greed, selfishness and laziness and also how to develop certain traits like honor, respect and discipline. You work on these things on your own, at your own discretion, at your own pace. You never are asked to talk about any of this with anyone else, though you are free to if you choose. This is your own personal battle.

Your Team

A Team consists of 5-10 Members.  You meet with your Team regularly.  Together you plan out and help each other with the Self-Reliance and Path goals.

Also, we want all Members to develop strength of character and we want all Teams to work together well.  To this end we provide Challenges and Adventures on a regular basis for you to...

undertake with your Team. 

Also, through your Team, you will work with other Teams and the Leadership in your area to accomplish your common goals.

Your Path

The seven Paths are the different areas of focus.  Each Team chooses one Path.  The seven Paths are:

1. Becoming Experts and Guides in the ways of Self-Reliance

2. Being Selfless Examples of Character

3. Combating Division

4. Preparing to defend your Team and Circle in the event of societal collapse

5. Combating online Vitriol and Spreading our Message online

6. Expanding The Order

7. Taking Character Development to its Highest Levels

Your City

Teams work together with the other Teams within their City (or County if you live in a rural area).

You work to form a network to help each other in all areas of Self-Reliance.  You also work with other Teams that follow the same Path as you in order to accomplish all of the goals of your Path uniformly throughout your entire City/County.

Each City or County has its own Leadership in order to be able to accomplish our goals as efficiently and effectively as possible.

As well, each Team chooses a Team Leader and all Team Leaders within your City or County meet together with your City Leadership on a regular basis.

5. Anyone who is paying attention can see that dark times are upon us. Thus, you are faced with two options:  You can continue life as usual and ignore the signs or… you can choose to stand ready, stand together, stand with us against that coming darkness.
